Guardianships:

Guardianships allow family members or friends to care for your children if you are unable to do so.


Conservatorships:

A Conservator is appointed by a judge to protect and manage the financial affairs of a person due to physical or mental limitations or old age.  A Conservator has many duties and responsibilities including filing an account with the court.

A Conservatee is a person whom a court determines because of physical or mental limitations or old age, requires a conservator to handle their financial affairs.
